Popped in to have a look at the exterior today, the building was mentioned in my Father's World War 2 memories, - he told me it used to be a NAAFI when he served at RAF Sealand in the 40's.

Very glad to see the place is still standing and being used

Aspirations Apprenticeships & Training recently held a FREE training day at Queensferry War Memorial Institute, fantastic venue and close to local amenities. Briliant day and lovely staff members, will definately use this venue again offering our FREE employability skills courses.

This building has recently been restored with the dedication of a small committee and in particular through the efforts of the Chairman in making numerous grant applications. It has a long history and deserves to be kept in good order for future generations. 24.01.2012
